From September 26 to September 28, 2019 at the International House of Scientists “Frederick Joliot-Curie” in „St. St. Constantine and Helena“, Varna, National Scientific Conference “75 Years of the Union of Scientists in Bulgaria – use of Science and Education took place.The program of the Conference includes 71 papers and 24 posters, divided into sections in the following scientific fields: natural, medical, social, humanities, technical and agricultural sciences.
The inauguration of the Conference took place on September 26 in Hall 1 of the IHS, with Prof. Ivan Kralov as the speaker at the official session. The conference was opened by the Chair of the USB – Prof. Diana Petkova. She told the story of the creation of the Union of Scientists in Bulgaria, the beginning of which dates from 30.10.1944,
A greeting address was read on behalf of the President of Bulgaria, Rumen Radev. Officials welcomed, official addresses from different universities were read.

At the closing of the Conference Prof. Diana Petkova summarized the work carried out by sections. Certificates of Best Poster were presented. The nomination of reports of young scientists for publication in the journal „Science“ was held. Anniversary National Science Conference of USB, September 26-28, 2019, successfully fulfilled its purpose and goals – new approaches and achievements in different fields of science and education were presented, creating multidisciplinary multidisciplinary links between different sciences and education.
